Webcam modelling is where you engage with members via livestream—on adult sites in our case—in exchange for money on a per-minute basis. Webcam work is a lucrative way to earn money from home with no prior experience required. Many of the people who join our agency are single mums looking to make a bit of extra cash a couple of hours a week. Others are unable to maintain traditional employment due to health reasons. Some are simply sick of the daily grind and the pressures of the cost-of-living crisis, and want something to top up their earnings. Then there are full-time performers who make hundreds or even thousands of pounds each week.

Everyone who signs up for webcam work is different, but we all have one thing in common—we want to make money in a way that doesn't take up all of our time, something with little to no start-up fees, and something that fits around our lives.

The beautiful thing about camming is that you get out what you put in—the more hours you work, the more you learn, the more you adapt and overcome challenges, the more money you will earn. And it's all on your terms! You can work any time of day, any day of the week, month, or year—or not log on at all if you want to take a break. There's so much freedom in webcam work that it's easy to see why so many people give it a go.

Now, let's get to the part you really want to know… what do webcam models actually do?

The honest answer is: whatever you like! But if you're new to the industry, you might not know exactly what that means. So, I'm going to tell you what I do and don’t do on cam.

When I first started camming, I was super shy. I also worked for the local authority, so I didn’t show my face or have my sound on—I typed only. I performed topless and offered dirty talk but no action. Clients could only see me from the lips down, and I kept my underwear on. As time went on, I got more comfortable performing. After a few weeks, I started showing more of myself, performing nude, gradually introducing toys, dress-up outfits, and eventually showing my face. I didn’t do this because my boundaries were pushed—it was because I saw that people wanted to see more and were willing to pay for it. And who am I to turn down good money?

Like I said before, it’s up to you what you do on cam. There’s a client for everyone. I know faceless models who are just as successful as those who show everything. You might be like me and show more as time goes on—or you might not! However you choose to perform is totally okay.

Now that we’ve covered the performance side, let me explain how it works.

Our models perform on AdultWork.com, where there are four modes: free, group, private, and background. When you first livestream, you’ll be in free mode, where you chat to clients for free and give them a little taster—say hello, have a bit of a chitchat. A client can then take you into a paid mode:

  • Group: multiple members can join and talk to you, each paying a per-minute rate.

  • Private: just you and one paying client, again on a per-minute basis.

You simply continue chatting and interacting until the call ends. And that’s literally it!

Getting set up can seem really daunting—I’ll never forget how nervous I was in those first few weeks. That’s why I started my webcam modelling agency, Vixen Models Management—to help others so you don’t fumble at the start like I did. I’ve created training guides, videos, and walkthroughs so that models know everything they need to before they even click “start.” I provide ongoing mentorship so you never feel alone. When you sign up, you also get full access to our community group chat, where you can seek advice and make friendships with other cam models.

Webcam modelling changed my life for the better, and if you’re thinking about giving it a go—let this be your sign! My agency is pressure-free, and if you don’t try it, you’ll never know.
